Postage costs from Germany are one of the highest in Europe. If you order from any European country outside of Germany, you will have to add to the following for postage & package the costs for the book (EUR/€ 22.40) and/or the CD (EUR/€ 19.-):
  • both items sent together:
    6.80 (total: EUR/€ 48.20)
  • book only:
    2.40 (total: EUR/€ 24.80)
  • CD only:
    4.70 (total: EUR/€ 23.70)
If you order from overseas countries (U.S., Canada, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.), you will have the same costs for postage and package as above. The items will be sent by surface mail. We know by now, that some deliveries may take only 3 days (!) to the U.S. when sent by surface mail; on the other hand we know also about 5-6 weeks. If you wish having sent the ordered items by air mail (not necessary for European countries), the additional costs for postage/package are EUR/€ 13.- for both items.

All orders from countries outside of Germany have to be pre-paid. At this stage there is no possibility to accept credit cards (such as Visa or MasterCard) because of some legal hick-hack in Germany. The relevant card companies simply refuse to issue permits or licenses.

If you order directly through the Tanzhaus or through choros (the publishing house), the only way to pay at this stage is by cheque. The cheque has to be issued in Euro and drawn to a German bank. Please make sure to advice your bank that all banking fees will be paid by you, the customer. We would not recommend bank transfers (though they are acceptable), since the relevant fees are very, very expensive. To cash a U.S.- personal cheque, the German Postbank charges a fee of EUR 15.-! If you have any doubts, please do not hesitate to ask.

We do not know, how other book shops in Germany or abroad will handle your order. Please enquire accordingly. We know for instance, that Amazon in Germany sells the book, but not the CD.

Right now the exchange of the Euro to the US $ is approx. 1:1.

Die Portokosten Deutschlands sind eine der höchsten Europas. Sollten Sie also von irgendeinem Land außerhalb Deutschlands bei uns bestellen, so sind die zusätzlichen Kosten für Porto & Verpackung zum Buch (deutsche Version EUR 17,40, englische Version EUR 22,40) und/oder zur CD (EUR 19,-) wie folgt:
  • Buch und CD zusammen: 6,80
  • nur das Buch: 2,40
  • nur die CD:

Sollten Sie aus einem außereuropäischen Land bestellen (USA, Kanada, Südamerika, Australien, Neuseeland, Südafrika usw.), dann haben Sie die gleichen Kosten wie oben. Die Lieferung erfolgt auf dem Landweg. Inzwischen wissen wir, daß das manchmal nur 3 Tage (!) in die USA dauert - Sie müssen allerdings auch bis 5-6 Wochen rechnen. Möchten Sie die Lieferung per Luftpost erhalten (nur für Übersee), müssen Sie für Buch und CD EUR/€ 13.- als Versandkosten aufschlagen.

Sämtliche Bestellungen mit Lieferadresse außerhalb Deutschlands müssen im voraus bezahlt werden. Zur Zeit sind Zahlungen mit einer Kreditkarte leider nicht möglich, da Visa oder MasterCard wegen der besonderen rechtlichen Situation derzeit keine Einzugslizenzen verteilen (Großunternehmen abgesehen).

Sollten Sie also direkt über das Tanzhaus oder choros bestellen, ist das momentan nur möglich, indem Sie uns einen auf eine deutsche Bank gezogenen und in Euro ausgestellten Scheck zustellen lassen. Bitte weisen Sie Ihre Bank an, daß sämtliche Bankgebühren von Ihnen getragen werden. Banküberweisungen aus dem Ausland können wir wegen der extrem hohen Bankgebühren nicht empfehlen, sind jedoch möglich, soweit Sie es wünschen. Sollten Sie noch zusätzliche Fragen haben, sind wir Ihnen gerne behilflich.

Uns ist nicht bekannt, wie andere Buchhandlungen in Deutschland Ihre Bestellung handhaben. Bitte erkundigen Sie sich entsprechend. Wir wissen jedoch, daß z.B. Amazon in Deutschland das Buch verkauft (deutsche wie englische Version), nicht jedoch die CD.

Momentan ist der Wechselkurs des Euro zum US $ ca. 1:1.
